THE LAWYER, THE DOCTOR'S AND THE CONVICTED FELON MOB ASSOCIATE

Have you ever heard of Dr. Richard Shemin? How about Dr. Steve McColgan? If you have not don't worry, once my book comes out you will hear plenty about these guys. Both of these Dr.'s were good friends with disgraced attorney Christopher Rich when I was "working" with him. They were such good friends with him that they asked him if they could invest in our enterprise. When I say "our enterprise" I apologize that I cannot be more specific but it is for obvious reasons.

Dr. Richard Shemin of UCLA is regarded as one of our country's leading heart surgeons according to UCLA and he also likes to supplement his income with some very risky investments. Me being one of them. He and Dr. Steve McColgan of Bellflower, CA gave Chris Rich $100,000 each to "invest" with me. They knew what we were up too and they were all for it. All they wanted was to increase profits and they both actually needed tutoring on how to spend all the cash. Between the three of these guys, Rich, Shemin and McColgan they put up over $350,000 in a matter of days to "invest". McColgan and Rich were the only two that ever asked me to cause physical harm to people that they were involved in legal battles with. I never followed through with anything like that but I want you to know what kind of people these are. They are all supposed to be the pillars of our community and they all have gotten their hands very, very dirty.

A good story about Dr. Shemin, one day I was late getting to his office to give him his monthly interest payment and when I got there I was ushered into his office like the times before but this time he was in surgery. He came barging in the office covered in blood and he told me that he "stepped out"of the surgery to come collect his money from me. Imagine the poor slob on the table getting heart surgery and this jerk leaves him there to come grab an envelope stuffed with cash from me. I guess he watched the Soprano's one too many times.

Dr. Shemin and Dr. McColgan went right along with Chris Rich when he lied and told the police I stole his money, so if you ask me they are as guilty as he is. They all sat by and said nothing while an innocent man (me, Joe LaFratta) was tried and convicted for crimes they all knew I did not commit. This is two Dr's and a disbarred attorney that did this. If you think criminals are only in bad parts of the city or that they all wear gang colors you should try and remember that two of the biggest criminal I have ever met, and I've met plenty, wore Dr's scrubs and lived in big houses and were given awards for their deeds.

The crook Christopher Rich is running for another elected official position

I guess it is true that some people will really never learn.

Disgraced and disbarred attorney Christopher Rich of Georgetown MA is running for another elected official position in town. You may remember that FOX UNDERCOVER aired the story of him being caught on wire tap asking an "alleged" mob associate (me) to rob the Georgetown country club and discussing a number of other crimes he wanted committed on the day of the town Assessors election that he was running for. He lost in a land slide but what the hell, that was way back in May of 2011.

I'm sure he figures the voting public has forgotten all about that. This jerk really is living in his own world. He swears that he did nothing wrong and that the State police were wrong in saying it was him on the wire taps. The Mass State police don't get things like that wrong you idiot.

This is the same guy that had me convicted of stealing and cashing his checks when I never stole a single one of them. He gave them to me and he must have been robbing clients funds and got caught so he tried to put the blame in my lap. What he didn't know was that my phone had been tapped and the taps proved that he not only gave me the checks and had me cash them but that he was a criminal and all around bad guy.

He was a lawyer but he was about to be disbarred for some of his wrong doings but he did the smart thing and took a MEDICAL LEAVE OF ABSENCE rather than be disbarred. This guy is the scum of the earth. DO NOT BELIEVE ONE WORD HE SAYS. I can't believe he has the balls to run for another elected position. Keep your eyes and ears open because there are going to be a few more stories about this jerk in the upcoming months and you will see exactly what kind of guy he is. The Law does not apply to everyone | Essex county DA |

In 2009 I was convicted of robbing disgraced attorney and Georgetown planning board member Christopher C. Rich of over $200,000. After serving 7 months of my 6 year sentence I found exculpatory evidence that my phones were tapped and that Chris Rich was on these taps talking to me about crimes he wanted to commit. The DA withheld this information and when the judge heard it he overturned my conviction and ordered me a new trial.

What I am wondering is this. Why hasn't the DA's office prosecuted Christopher C. Rich for any number of things he did that were against the law. He filed a false police report, he committed perjury on the witness stand a number of times and he also sued Eastern bank fauduletly and won? He won the case against the bank because I was convicted of stealing his checks even though evidence found later proved the checks were given to me.

I sure as hell know what would have happened to me if I committed any of these crimes. The one against the bank is actually bank fraud if you think about it. However, he is friends with the Essex County DA and several judges in the state so I guess the LAWS DO NOT APPLY TO EVERYONE.

Believe me, I don't think anyone should go to jail but If the courts are going to portray themselves as society's moral compass they should go after people that actually commit crime. This guy was a lawyer so he should have a pretty good understanding of the laws that he broke.

One more point I would like to make. Christopher C. Rich still has a license to carry a firearm in this state. How does that happen? He is on wire tap with an "alleged" member of organized crime (me) plotting crimes against innocent people.

Massachusetts Law Enforcement Mafia at it again

Lowell police officer Arovanh Lakmany was indicted recently on extortion, 3 counts of rape and 3 counts of soliciting a prostitute but get this, he was released on PERSONAL RECOGNIZANCE. Which means he wasn't even given a bail.

Now call me crazy but this bail seems to be a little low. Actually its impossible to get your bail any lower unless they pay you to be charged with a crime. Oh wait a second that is most likely what is going to happen. I'm sure that this RAPIST will be suspended with pay, or as you and I like to call it, "given a paid vacation".

I know a thousand people that have been charged with crimes a lot less serious than this and were given huge bails. I wonder what the difference is between them and him. Oh, no I don't, he's a LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER so the "LAWS" DO NOT APPLY TO HIM.

This jerk actually said in an interview with detectives that "he felt like he was untouchable because, you know, were cops". THAT ABOUT SUMS IT UP.

This is further proof that in this country if you are not a politician, a cop, a judge, a probation officer or any other jerk woking for the government or law enforcement THAN YOU ARE A SUCKER. They want you to shut up, follow the laws that they don't follow and just KEEP PAYING YOUR TAXES.

FBI's arrest of Whitey Bulger publicity stunt | FAST AND FURIOUS | SHOULD MAKE YOU FURIOUS

In the FBI's long history of making bad decisions this has to be the worst. Forget about Whitey Bulger and Hoover wearing a dress. This trumps them all.

These morons actually thought it was a good idea to spend tax dollars on guns and give them to drug dealers so they could track them. Let us mull that over for a moment. I'm no criminologist but I think when you give a drug deal a high powered weapon most of the time someone gets hurt or killed and that is exactly what happened.

I honestly believe that the reason the FBI finally "found" Whitey Bulger is so they could divert some of the bad press from this story and have people talking about Whitey. Forget that rat Whitey, this story should make you FURIOUS WITH THE FBI. Your money paid for this mess and now they are trying to block the investigation.

I think they feds need to hire a PR guy....

Casey Anthony gets 4 years | Public Outraged |

I understand that people are upset that Casey Anthony got found NOT GUILTY and that they are upset with the Judicial system. What I don't understand is how these same people don't seem to care when the Judicial system CONVICTS some poor bastard of a crime he didn't commit.

Let's take Joe Salvati for instance. Joe was given the DEATH PENALTY for a crime he didn't commit and the government knew he didn't commit but tried him anyway. The DEATH PENALTY was abolished in Mass before the government could actually pull off its premeditated murder of Mr. Salvati but the poor bastard still ended up doing 27 years before he was released from prison.

He only got out because they actually could prove that the FBI with held exculpatory evidence in his case that proved he had no idea that the murder happened and was nowhere near the crime scene. And this was after years of losing appeals and the government repeatedly calling him a "mobster" when they were the ones in bed with the real homicidal maniac James Whitey Bulger.

This woman was found NOT GUILTY by a jury of her peers and that's that!

The system works but only if you own a fortune 500 company. The rest of us have NO SAY IN THE MATTER. DEAL WITH IT!

THE APPLE DOESN’T FALL FAR FROM THE TREE


Some criminals are certainly a waste of talent. Most of the really good ones would be great at anything they tried to do, but they gravitated toward crime because they were around it at an early age. Almost all of the stories they heard from people they looked up to… who happened to be lifelong criminals… were all about the good times.
No one ever tells stories about the misery that crime has caused them… at least the men don't. They were “nurtured” by crime.
This is true most of all with the Mafia. Where I come from, we were brought up thinking that life in the Mafia was the coolest life there was. I was born and raised in Revere, Massachusetts; a town near Boston with a large tight-knit Italian population. It was also a place where illegal gambling, loan sharking and drug dealing were a way of life. To be in the Mafia was considered a tremendous achievement… like having won a Super Bowl or having been elected to Congress.
I was born in in August, 1972, which makes me part of “Generation X”. My father, Joe LaFratta, Sr., is three-quarters Italian and one-fourth Greek. My mother is Irish and French.
When I was a little boy… I was about five years old… my family owned a summer cottage at Canobie Lake, New Hampshire, which is about a 45 minute drive from Boston. It was one of best places a young boy could be in the summer. We owned a cottage right next to the lake, we had a boat and there was an amusement park right down the street that had everything… including a roller coaster.
We would spend the whole summer there as a family. It never seemed odd to me that the other kid’s fathers were only there on the weekends, but my father was there all the time. He did not have to go to a nine-to-five job because he never had one. He would leave from time to time late at night, but he would always be there in the morning when we woke up. This was a great time in my life, and I will always look back fondly on it.
My fondest memory of those times, however, is not of the boat or of the amusement park. It is of my father and I driving to the closest farm stand, which was on a country road near our summer cottage. Whenever we went there, my dad would put a big bunch of ears of corn in a bag and place the bag in the car. He would then pick out whatever fruits or vegetables we needed for the night’s salad, put them in another bag and put that bag in the car as well. What I remember most about those shopping trips was when my father would walk back to the farm stand and go over to a coffee can that the customers would drop money in to pay for their merchandise. Like many small businesses in that rural area, the farm stand was on the “honor system”. My father, though, did things differently. He would give a quick look around, take all of the money out of the can and quickly put it in his pocket. He would then look at me, clasp his hands together, shake them up and down at the wrist in a gesture of exasperation and say: "When are they going to learn up here?"
It is important for you to know that my father definitely did not need the money that was in the coffee can… he just loved to get over on things like that. Even though he had what some would consider a warped sense of morality, my father was a good man. He has always loved me, and he would die for me without hesitation. I know for a fact that he never meant me any harm, and he did not want me to follow in his footsteps.
That said, the fact that I saw him do things that he knew were wrong and saw the smile on his face when he did them made it a lot easier for me to choose the same path when I got older. I found crime to be a means of making large sums of money in a way that also made me feel like I was in on a really funny practical joke. Dirty money is very appealing. If you are a true criminal, you see things very differently from other people. You are always watching for angles that lead to quick riches, if you’re willing to take a few risks. There is always a price to be paid, though. My father often told me: “A construction worker has to worry about getting hit in the head by a two by four, but a criminal has to worry about going to jail.”
My life is full of regrets, but it all happened in the past and no one can change the past. I had to learn from my mistakes and as it turns out, I'm a very bad student! It took me a long time to learn how to find true happiness.

Once I “got it”, though, I understood about the world we live in better than I have before, and I realized how anyone could still be happy, whether they were rich or poor or in the most miserable situations imaginable.

Casey Anthony | Not Guilty | Whitey Bulger Next?

Casey Anthony was found not guilty today by a jury of her peers and people are all upset with the jury. The jury did what it "thought" was right and granted, they may have been wrong but the blame lies with the Prosecutors, not with the jury.

The prosecutor knew they had a weak case, even though they had almost 3 years to built it and they should have offered this woman a plea deal that she would have honestly considered. If she is guilty and they offered her 10 or 15 years anyone with a half of brain would have jumped all over it, not to mention that her lawyer would have told her to take it. That way at least the truth would have been told and she would not be able to profit off of her crime. Also the prosecutors should have given the jury other options than first degree murder. In their arrogance they only left the jury with 2 options, guilt or innocense of first degree murder, and in a weak case like this the jury did not believe it was premeditated and decided to find her not guilty. If they had other options such as manslaughter maybe they would have seen things in a different way. Unfortunatly we will never know.

I do not believe that people should be upset with the jurors. They have nothing to gain from finding her not guilty and I applaud them for doing what they thought was the right thing. No matter what my personal beliefs may be.

You do not have to agree with the outcome but this is our judicial system and 12 people that know a lot more about the case than any of you do thought she did not commit premeditated murder.

If you are looking for someone to blame, blame the DA's office and let them know how upset you are.

Lets all just hope that Whitey Bulger is not the next one to get "lucky" in court.

Whitey Bulger | Flying around town in a helicopter | Like P Diddy

Whitey Bulger was wisked to Logan airport today via a helicopter ride from Plymouth County Correctional Facility. The Coast Guard is reporting that the chopper cost about $13,500 per hour to the tax payers to operate. So if they used it for 6 hours today to fly the RAT Whitey to and from court, and of course he got to take a spin by the waterfront, that cost the taxpaer $81,000. It works out to almost 10% of the sack of loot that they caught Whitey with.

Why in the world are they flying this guy around like P Diddy? He has been in a private Jet last week now the chopper rides over the city. This is really crazy but no one seems to care. Where do they get his lunch from on court dates, Strega on the waterfront? He must have had a craving for some lobster being away for so long.

I think they U.S marshals should just get a bullet proof Bentley to take him to court in. Then he would really be living like a rap star.

I only got to go to court in the back of a van chained to 3 other jerks. I guess being a "friend" of the FBI still has its perks.

Whitey Bulger | US attorney trying to get out from in front of Judge Wolf

The U.S attorney's office in Boston is up to its old tricks. They are now trying to dismiss the 1994 indictment of Whitey so they won't have to try the case in front of Judge Wolf. The reason behind this is simple. Judge Wolf knows all of the Governments tricks. He was the one that forced the FBI to disclose that Whitey was an informant. He is also the Judge that ordered a U.S Attorney to appear before him and sent the U.S Marshalls to go get him from his dentist appointment when he didn't show up.

This is the same Judge who signed the warrant to place listening devices in the home of Vinnie Federico's sister during the mafia induction ceremony way back when. He was lied to on that occasion also. They already had a rat (Sunny Mecurio) that was going to be present during the ceremony, therefore they never needed to bug the house but the government withheld that info. Which by the way is illegal and makes the taped conversations in admissible.

I have a funny feeling that Judge Wolf knows what is going on and he will not allow the case the dismissed. We will have to watch and see, but it gets better every day....

Whitey Bulger | Federal Court | Stall tactics

Whitey didn't seem like himself in court yesterday. Maybe it was the food at Plymouth County Correctional facility. I have been a guest there in the past and the food sure can take the smile off your face.

Usually this Rat has a good one liner all set up but yesterday he said nothing and wouldn't even look at reporters. Doesn't he know that the Boston media is only reporting his story? Come on Whitey, give us something to work with or at least shave that beard already. You got caught, no need to keep the disguise on. You look like a child molester. On second thought keep it on.

Eddie Mckenzie's story becomes a movie | Whitey Bulger | Boston Mob

That nit wit Eddie McKenzie is getting his story told on the big screen. It will most likely be in english but still have english subtitles. This guy is permanently on tilt. I saw him on the local Boston Fox affiliate and you could tell he clearly took the short bus to school not to mention that his stylist loves Ed Hardy clothing and hopes that her client can afford it someday....

Hollywood is really running out of stories to tell. Maybe they can get retired boxer/junkie Peter McNeeley to play the part of McKenzie, although he may sound a little to intelligent for the part.

I had a run in with this jerk back in 2007 when he was trying to hold on to that church he's running into the ground. Now that's a story they should make a movie about.

Whitey Bulger | May consider helping John Connolly | Boston Mob

This Kevin Cullen artilce in the Boston Globe is great. I've been saying all along that Whitey may help that disgraced FBI agent John Connolly get that 40 year conviction in Florida overturned. Whitey must appreciate the fact that the FBI agent is the only one in his whole crew that kept his mouth shut.

Word on the street is that this John Connolly was a real piece of crap. He would arrest you and steal your watch and wear it your arraignment or he would steal your car and drive it around your town so everyone could see him in it. Not to mention all the money he must have pocketed during arrest or shakedowns. And why not, no one could do anything about it. If you made any noise he would have you arrested and if he couldn't do that he'd have Whitey kill you. Just another example of how the FBI is the Organized Crime in this country. It is sad though that some guys went to the FBI for help because they thought Whitey was going to kill them and they offered to rat him out for protection but the FBI told them they couldn't help them and then told Whitey what the guy offered to do and guess what happened next. You got it the old "two in the hat".... Another case closed by the Boston FBI office.

This story is the gift that just keeps giving. If I was an ex FBI agent from Boston that had my hand out when Whitey was giving out envelopes I would be on the next flight to Santa Monica. No on will think to look for you there.....

This Boston Herald ariticle says that Whitey's girl from years ago still loves him. That and the fact that Catherine Grieg hung around this ahole for 16 years makes me come to the conclusion that Whitey does not have the "IRISH CURSE". He must be 25% Italian.

Whtiey Bulger will take down more FBI agents | Boston Mob |

This talks about how people in South Boston think Whitey Bulger will rat out more FBI agents. It is odd how so many of these people from Southie still hold this dirtbag in such high regards. One woman talks about how he helped some poor sexually assaulted woman and her family move to Florida. He most likely had her assaulted because he wanted her apartment to sell drugs out of.

The thing I am looking forward to is the infamous "tapes". When Whitey first went on the lam some of his rat associates said whenever he met with the FBI he always recorded the conversations. These tapes should be worth their weight in gold and if you know how that RAT thinks, he has had them stashed away just for a time like this. I bet the FBI is scouring the country looking for those tapes right now. Maybe they will start offering $100,000 to the person that can tell them where they are. Maybe someone in Iceland will get another check from the FBI..... Iceland, thats a good one!

Mitt Romney and the Boston Mob

In this article Republican Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney makes a couple statements about the capture of Whitey Bulger. Mitt is a very funny guy. I've spent some time with Mitt in 2004 and he should just keep his mouth shut when it comes to the Boston Mob before it comes up and bites him on the ass.

I won't say anything else about my relationship with good old Mitt but I will say that not long after I met with him I was appointed Director of Security for Hubbard Regional Hospital, a state owned hospital in Webster Ma. You may consider this job post odd considering I never applied for the position and I was released from federal prison for stealing alumni donations from Tufts University only months before, and the fact that I was on federal probation, but what the hell, he was Governor and he can do whatever he likes.

Like I said earlier Mitt should just keep clear of this Boston Mob and Mafia topic and hope that those wire taps of my cell phone back in 2004 never become public. Although I still can't figure out why the Mass State Police won't release them. Maybe Mitt Romney can get them released when he becomes President but I wouldn't hole your breath.
